In short: Women prefer the body odor of dominant men.
Additional Notes: The attractiveness of a man's body odor goes hand in hand with his degree of dominance. The attractiveness of a man's scent depends on the phase of the menstrual cycle and whether the woman is in a partnership. Women in a committed relationship prefer dominant men during their fertile period. Single women and women not in their fertile phase do not exhibit this preference.
